Getting There

    If you're driving from Harima, head north on Route 2 towards Himeji. Continue for about 15 km until you reach Himeji. As you approach the city, follow signs for 'Shosha' and 'Engyoji.' Turn left onto Route 372, which will take you directly to the entrance of Engyoji. There is parking available on-site, but note that there may be a small fee (around 500 yen) for parking.

    To reach Engyoji using public transport, start by taking a train from Harima Station to Himeji Station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the Shoshazan Engyoji stop, and from there, it's a short walk to the temple entrance.
