If you are driving from Harima to Himeji City Science Museum, start by getting onto the National Route 2 (国道2号) heading west. After approximately 15 km, merge onto the Sanyo Expressway (山陽自動車道) towards Himeji. Take Exit 10 towards Himeji City and continue on Route 2. Follow signs for Himeji City Center. The museum is located at 1470-15 Aoyama, Himeji, Hyogo 671-2222. There is parking available on-site, but please check for any parking fees which may apply.

To reach Himeji City Science Museum using public transportation, start by taking the JR Bantan Line from Harima Station (播磨駅). Board the train heading towards Himeji Station (姫路駅). The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Himeji Station, transfer to the bus service. Take the 'Himeji City Loop Bus' and get off at the 'Himeji City Science Museum' bus stop. The bus fare is around 200 yen. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. Check the bus schedule for return trips to ensure you have your timing right.
