Car
If you are driving from the center of Harima, head south on Route 2 towards Kobe. Continue on Route 2 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the interchange for Route 43. Merge onto Route 43, following signs for Kobe. Continue on this road for about 8 kilometers until you see signs for Mount Maya. Turn left onto Mayasan Road and follow it for about 3 kilometers. You will reach the parking area for Mount Maya, where you can park your car.
Public Transportation
To visit Mount Maya using public transportation, start by taking the JR Harima Line from Harima Station. Ride the train towards Kobe and get off at Sannomiya Station (approximately 30 minutes). From Sannomiya Station, transfer to the Kobe Municipal Subway and take the Seishin-Yamate Line to Maya Station (about 15 minutes). Upon exiting Maya Station, follow the signs for the Mount Maya trailhead, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill. You will see signs along the way directing you to the entrance of Mount Maya.
