Car
If you are driving from Harima, take the Sanyo Expressway (Expressway No. 2). Head towards Kobe and exit at the Kobe East Interchange. Continue on Route 2 (Motomachi) towards Chuo Ward. Follow the signs for Motomachidori and look for parking options nearby. There are various public parking lots available in the area. The Seianmon Gate is located at 2 Chome-5-3 Motomachidori, which is a short walk from the parking lots.
Train and Walk
For those using public transportation, take the JR (Japan Railways) from Harima Station to Kobe Station. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes depending on the train service. Once you arrive at Kobe Station, transfer to the Kobe Municipal Subway and take the Kaigan Line to Sannomiya Station. From Sannomiya Station, it is about a 15-minute walk to Seianmon Gate. Exit the station and head towards Motomachidori, following the signs to the tourist area.
Bus
You can also take a bus from Harima to Kobe. Look for the highway buses that connect Harima with Kobe. Once you arrive at the Kobe Bus Terminal, transfer to local buses that head towards Motomachidori. You can then disembark at the nearest stop and walk to Seianmon Gate, which is located at 2 Chome-5-3 Motomachidori. Be sure to check the bus schedules, as they may vary.
