Car
From central Harima, take Route 2 heading towards Kobe. After approximately 25 km, merge onto the Hanshin Expressway (expressway toll applies) and continue for about 10 km. Take the exit towards Rokkosan, and follow the signs for Rokkosancho. You will arrive at Ichigatani-1-70, where Stairway to Heaven is located, near the Rokko San Observatory. Please be aware that parking may be limited, so look for designated parking areas nearby.

Public Transportation
Start at Harima Station and take the JR Kobe Line to Sannomiya Station (approximately 20 minutes). From Sannomiya Station, transfer to the Hankyu Kobe Line and take the train to Rokko Station (about 15 minutes). Upon arrival at Rokko Station, board the Rokko San Cable Car (ticket costs around 1,000 yen one way) which will take you up to the Rokko San Observatory. From the observatory, it's a short walk to Stairway to Heaven, located at Ichigatani-1-70 Rokkosancho. Make sure to check the cable car schedule as it may vary.
