From Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Line towards Mihara. Get off at Hiroshima Port Station (about 10 minutes). From there, transfer to the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) and take the 'Hiroshima Station' bound tram. Get off at the 'Nishi Ward' stop. From this stop, it is about a 20-minute walk to Mitaki-dera. Head southwest on Mitaki-dori Street; you'll see signs guiding you to the temple. The path is mostly uphill.

If you are near the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, you can walk to Mitaki-dera. Start by heading northwest on Otemachi Street, then turn left onto Naka River. Continue walking along the river until you reach the intersection with Mitaki-dori Street. Turn right onto Mitaki-dori Street and follow it straight. The walk will take about 1 hour and is approximately 4 km. Enjoy the scenic route as you approach the temple.
