Walking
From the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, exit through the main entrance towards the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims. Continue walking straight along the road, passing the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum on your left. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection at Motomachi. Turn right onto Motomachi Street and continue walking for another 5 minutes. HIROSHIMA GATE PARK will be on your left at 5-25 Motomachi, Naka Ward.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can walk to the nearest tram stop from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which is 'Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park' tram station. Take the tram line 1 (to Hiroden-miyajima-guchi) or line 2 (to Eba) and get off at 'Hatchobori' station (2 stops). From there, exit the station and walk straight for about 7 minutes along the street until you reach Motomachi Street. Turn left and you will find HIROSHIMA GATE PARK at 5-25 Motomachi, Naka Ward. Note that a tram ticket costs around 200 yen.
