Getting There

Car

From the center of Hizen, take Route 365 heading north towards Katsuyama. This will take approximately 40 minutes. Upon reaching Katsuyama, follow the signs to the Heisenji area. When you reach Heisenji, turn right onto Heisenjicho Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see the Heisenji Hakusan Shrine on your right. Parking is available near the shrine.
Public Transportation

From Hizen Station, take the JR Fukubu Line train towards Fukui. Alight at Katsuyama Station (approximately a 30-minute ride). From Katsuyama Station, take a local bus bound for Heisenji. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Heisenji stop, and the shrine will be a short walk (about 500 meters) from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they can vary throughout the day.
