If you are driving from central Iki, take Route 5 towards the Iki Ferry Terminal. Follow the signs for the ferry to Hakata. After approximately 20 minutes, take the ferry from Iki to Fukuoka. Once you arrive in Fukuoka, head towards the Chuo Ward and follow the signs for Route 19 towards Nagano. Continue on Route 19 until you reach Suwa city. The Suwa Lake Geyser Center is located at 2 Chome-208-90 Kogandori, Suwa, Nagano. Look for parking available nearby.

Start your journey at the Iki City Bus Terminal. Take the bus to the Iki Ferry Terminal. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, board the ferry to Fukuoka, which usually takes about 60 minutes. Once you arrive at Hakata Station in Fukuoka, transfer to the JR Chuo Line towards Matsumoto. After about 2.5 to 3 hours, you will arrive at Suwa Station.
