Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey heading towards the Ise Expressway (Ise Road) from your current location in Ise Shima. Follow the signs for the Ise Expressway, which is well-marked. After about 30 minutes, take the exit for Shima City (Shima IC). After exiting, continue on Route 42 towards Shima. Follow the signs for Izawanomiya. It is located at 374 Isobecho Kaminogo, Shima, Mie 517-0208, which should take about 15 minutes from the exit.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)

To reach Izawanomiya via public transportation, first head to Iseshi Station using the Kintetsu Line if you are starting from Ise. From Iseshi Station, take a train on the Kintetsu Shimakotsu Line towards Toba. Get off at Ugata Station. From Ugata Station, you will need to take a local bus. Catch the bus heading towards Isobe and get off at the Izawanomiya bus stop. The shrine is a short walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus timetable as the frequency may vary.

Taxi

For convenience, you can also take a taxi from your location in Ise Shima directly to Izawanomiya. This option is more expensive but provides door-to-door service. The journey should take around 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
