If you're traveling by car, start in the Iwami area and head east on Route 9. Follow the signs for Tottori City. Once you reach Tottori, continue on Route 53 towards Kokufucho. Look for signs pointing towards Amedaki Falls as you approach Kokufucho. The falls are located at Kokufucho Amedaki, Tottori, 680-0201. There is a parking area near the falls that is free of charge.
Public Transportation
To reach Amedaki Falls via public transportation, begin your journey by taking a train to Tottori Station. From Tottori Station, board a local bus bound for Kokufucho. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kokufucho Amedaki stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to the falls. Note that bus fares may vary, so be prepared with cash for the fare.
Walking
If you prefer walking, and if you're staying close to Kokufucho, from the center of Kokufucho, you can follow the marked trails that lead directly to Amedaki Falls. It’s about a 2-kilometer walk and will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven.
