Car
If you're driving from central Izu, take Route 135 towards Atami. Follow the signs for Atami and continue on Route 135 for about 30 minutes. As you approach Atami, you will see signs for Atami Water Park. Turn onto Nagisacho, and the water park will be on your right. There is parking available at the park, but be aware that there may be a fee for parking, typically around ¥500 for the day.
Train
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the JR Tokaido Line from any station in Izu to Atami Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs around ¥800. Once you arrive at Atami Station, exit the station and walk towards the bus terminal. Take the local bus (Bus Number 5) that goes to Nagisacho. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Disembark at the Nagisacho stop, and you will find Atami Water Park a short walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can also take a taxi from Atami Station to Atami Water Park. The taxi ride takes about 5-10 minutes and costs around ¥1,500. Just inform the driver to take you to Atami Water Park (アタミ水族館) located in Nagisacho.
