Car

If you're driving from central Izu, take Route 135 south towards Minamiizu. Continue on Route 135, passing through the scenic coastal areas. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the town of Minato. Look for signs indicating Cape Tarai. The parking area is available at the base of the cape, and parking fees may apply. Make sure to bring cash for the parking fee.

To reach Cape Tarai using public transportation, start by taking a train from Izu City to the nearest station, which is the Minamiizu Station on the Izu Kyuko Line.
