Car
If you're driving, start by heading towards the Izu Skyline Road (伊豆スカイライン) from wherever you are in Izu. Follow the signs for Futo (河津) as you drive. When you reach the Futo area, look for Route 135, which runs along the coast. Drive towards 1317-13 Futo, and you should see signs for Izu Shaboten Zoo. There is parking available on-site.
Bus
If you're using public transportation, take the Izu Kyuko Line train to Ito Station (伊東駅). From Ito Station, transfer to the Izu Resort Line bus (伊豆リゾートライン) and get off at Futo (富戸). The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Futo, it’s a short walk to 1317-13 Futo, where the Izu Shaboten Zoo is located. Look for signs directing you to the zoo.
