Getting There

Car
If you are driving, head towards Atami City. Use Route 135, which runs along the coastline. Once you reach Atami, look for the signs directing you to Showacho. Turn onto Showacho and continue straight until you see Kiunkaku at 4-2 Showacho on your right. There is parking available nearby.

Train
Take the JR Tokaido Line from any station in Izu towards Atami Station. The journey will take approximately 30 to 50 minutes depending on your starting location. Once you arrive at Atami Station, exit the station and head towards the east exit. From there, you can either take a taxi (approximately 5 minutes) or walk. If walking, turn left out of the station, then turn right onto Showacho street. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Kiunkaku at 4-2 Showacho.

You can take a local bus from various points in Izu to Atami. Check the local bus schedule for routes that head to Atami Station. Once at Atami Station, exit towards the east exit. From there, you can take a taxi or follow the same walking directions as mentioned above from the train option.
