Getting there

Car

If you are driving to Senbonhama Park from anywhere in Izu, you will want to navigate to the city of Numazu. Begin by heading towards Route 1 (also known as the Tōmei Expressway). Once you reach Numazu, take the Numazu IC exit. Follow the signs for Route 1 and then make a right onto Prefectural Route 147. Continue for approximately 5 minutes until you see signs for Senbonhama Park. There is parking available near the park; however, be aware that parking may incur a small fee.

Train and Walk

For those using public transportation, take the JR Tōkaidō Line to Numazu Station. Once you arrive at Numazu Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located to the north of the station. From there, catch the bus bound for Senbonhama and get off at the Senbonhama Park bus stop. The bus ride is approximately 15 minutes and costs around 200 yen. After disembarking, follow the signs to the park entrance which is just a short walk away.

Bus

If you are in a different part of Izu and prefer to take a bus directly to Senbonhama Park, you can take a local bus service. Check the local bus schedules for routes that connect to Numazu Station and then transfer to the bus going to Senbonhama Park. The fare will vary depending on your starting location, but generally expect to pay between 200-500 yen.
