Car
If you are driving to Tarosugi Cedar, start from Izu City and take National Route 414 heading towards Yugashima. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will reach the intersection near Yugashima Onsen. Turn left onto Route 59, which leads you directly towards the Tarosugi Cedar. Follow the signs for Tarosugi Cedar for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the parking area located near the cedar tree. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee, usually around ¥500.

Public Transportation
To reach Tarosugi Cedar using public transportation, take the Izu Hakone Railway from Izu City Station to Shuzenji Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. From Shuzenji Station, take a bus bound for Yugashima Onsen. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Tarosugi' bus stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Tarosugi Cedar. Note that the bus fare is around ¥500, and be sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary.
