Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the city of Fuji. From Izu, take Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) northbound. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the Fuji exit. Follow the signs for Route 139 towards Nakazato. Continue on Route 139 for about 10 kilometers until you reach Nakazato. Ukishimagahara Natural Park is located at 2553-8 Nakazato, Fuji, Shizuoka. There is free parking available at the park.

Train and Bus
For those using public transportation, start by taking the Izukyu Line from Izu to Fuji Station. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Fuji Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Take the Fujikyu Bus (line number 30) towards Nakazato and get off at the Ukishimagahara stop. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the park entrance.
