Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the center of Izumi, head east on Route 170 towards Kaizuka. Continue driving for approximately 20 kilometers. Once you reach Kaizuka, take the exit for Route 26 towards Wakayama. After about 2 kilometers, take a left onto Sawa-cho and follow the signs to Nishikinohama Park. There is a parking lot available at the park, which generally costs around 500 yen for a full day.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Nishikinohama Park by public transportation, start by taking the Nankai Main Line from Izumi Station to Kaizuka Station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kaizuka Station, exit the station and catch the bus bound for Nishikinohama Park. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as they may not run frequently. A bus ticket will cost around 200 yen.

  • Walking from Kaizuka Station

    If you prefer to walk from Kaizuka Station instead of taking the bus, exit the station and head southwest. Walk along Route 26 for about 2 kilometers until you reach Sawa-cho. Turn left onto Sawa-cho and continue walking for around 1 kilometer. You’ll see the entrance to Nishikinohama Park on your right. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
