Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Kaga city center and head northeast on Route 157. Follow the signs towards Yamanaka Onsen. After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at Yamanaka Onsen. As you enter the area, look for signs directing you to Korogi Bridge (こおろぎ橋). The bridge is located in Shimotanimachi, which is a short drive from the main area of Yamanaka Onsen. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Korogi Bridge using public transportation, take the JR Hokuriku Line from Kaga Onsen Station to Kaga City Station. From Kaga City Station, transfer to the Noto Railway and head to Yamanaka Onsen Station. Once you arrive at Yamanaka Onsen Station, you can either take a local bus or a taxi to reach Korogi Bridge, which is about a 10-minute ride away. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as buses may not run frequently. The bus fare will typically cost around 200-300 yen.
Walking
If you prefer walking and are already in Yamanaka Onsen, Korogi Bridge is accessible on foot from the main area. Head towards the Yamanaka Onsen hot spring district and look for signs directing you to the bridge. The walk takes about 20-30 minutes, and it's a scenic route along the river, offering beautiful views. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and check the weather before you go.
