Car
From the center of Kai, take Route 20 towards Kofu. After approximately 30 km, merge onto the Chuo Expressway (E20) heading towards Tokyo. Continue for about 70 km until you reach the Musashino area. Take the Kichijoji exit, and follow the signs towards Kichijoji. The shrine is located at 1 Chome-1-23 Kichijoji Higashicho, Musashino, Tokyo. There is usually parking available near the shrine, but be prepared for a parking fee of around ¥500.

From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Get off at Kichijoji Station. Once you arrive at Kichijoji Station, exit the station and head east. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Musashino Hachimangu Shrine. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Kichijoji Station to Musashino Hachimangu, which costs around ¥210.
