Getting There

  • Bus

    From Kanazawa Station, head to the bus terminal located right outside the station. Look for the bus stop for the Kanazawa Loop Bus (also known as the Kanazawa Sightseeing Bus). You can take the 'East Loop' bus. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the 'Daijoji Kyuryo Park' stop, which should take approximately 25-30 minutes. After getting off, follow the pedestrian path towards the park entrance, which is clearly marked.

    If you are staying near the city center (such as in the Katamachi area), you can walk to Daijoji Kyuryo Park. Start by heading west towards the Kanazawa Castle Park. From the main entrance of Kanazawa Castle Park, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Otemachi Street. Turn left and walk along Otemachi Street until you reach the Nagasakamachi area. Follow the signs to Daijoji Kyuryo Park, which is about a 30-40 minute walk from the castle.
