Bus
From Kanazawa Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for the bus stop for the 'Kanazawa Loop Bus' (Kanazawa Tabi Bus) and board the bus marked 'East Course'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Higashi Chaya District' stop. From there, you will see the entrance to the district just a short walk away.
Train
From Kanazawa Station, take the Hokuriku Railway's 'Asanogawa Line' train towards 'Tsubata'. Travel for about 5 minutes and get off at 'Higashi Chaya-Gai Station'. Once you exit the station, it is a 10-minute walk to the Higashi Chaya District. Head east and follow the signs to the district.
Walking
If you are already in the Kanazawa city center, you can walk to the Higashi Chaya District. Start at the Kenrokuen Garden entrance, and walk east towards the 'Higashi Chaya District'. It will take approximately 20-25 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful scenery and historical buildings along the way.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Kanazawa. Simply tell the driver 'Higashi Chaya District' (or show them the address: 1 Chome Higashiyama, Kanazawa, Ishikawa 920-0831). The ride will take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
