Bus

From Kanazawa Station, take the bus bound for 'Hakusan' or 'Yahatamachi'. The bus departs from the east exit of the station. Make sure to check the timetable for exact departure times. The ride takes about 40 minutes. Get off at 'Inu Yahatamachi' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 10 minutes northeast along the main road, following the signs for Ishikawa Insect Museum. The museum will be on your left.
Train and Bus

Take the Hokuriku Railroad from Kanazawa Station to Nomi Station. This train runs frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Nomi Station, exit the station and catch a local bus heading to 'Hakusan'. Get off at the 'Inu Yahatamachi' stop. From there, you can walk for about 10 minutes heading northeast, following the signs for Ishikawa Insect Museum, which will be on your left.

If you are close to the Kanazawa Castle area, you can walk to the Ishikawa Insect Museum, which is approximately 8 kilometers away.
