Getting There

  • Bus

    From Kanazawa Station, take the Hokuriku Railroad Bus bound for Yamanaka Onsen. The bus ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the Yamanaka Onsen stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Kakusenkei Gorges. Head east on Yamanaka Onsen Shimotanimachi street until you see signs for the gorges.

  • Train and Bus

    Take the JR Hokuriku Line from Kanazawa Station to Kaga Onsen Station, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kaga Onsen Station, transfer to the Hokuriku Railroad bus heading towards Yamanaka Onsen. The bus will take another 20 minutes. Get off at the Yamanaka Onsen stop, and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Kakusenkei Gorges by following Yamanaka Onsen Shimotanimachi street.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Kanazawa Station to Kakusenkei Gorges. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Just inform the driver that you want to go to 'Kakusenkei Gorges' in Yamanaka Onsen.
