From the Hirase bus stop, walk south on Hirase Road for about 1 km (approximately 20 minutes) following the signs for Midorigaike Pond. The path is well-marked. Bus fare is around ¥650.

If driving from Shirakawa-go, head east on Route 156 (Shirakawa-go Main Street) for about 10 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Hirase; Midorigaike Pond is located in that vicinity. Limited parking may be available near the pond.
