Car
If you are driving from the center of Koshi, start by heading east on Route 57. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 265. Turn left onto Route 265, and follow the signs for Mount Aso. After about 10 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Takawara. Keep going, and you will arrive at Mount Aso, located in Takawara, Aso, Kumamoto.
Public Transportation
To reach Mount Aso using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the Koshi Station. Look for the Aso bound bus, which runs multiple times a day. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the Takawara stop. From there, follow the signs leading to Mount Aso, which is just a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
