From the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, head east on the main path until you reach the intersection with Saga-Toriimoto Preserved Street. Turn left and continue straight. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will see signs directing you to Kimono Forest. The forest is located at 20-2 Sagatenryuji Tsukurimichicho, which is a short distance from the main tourist areas.

    If you are further away, you can take the JR San-in Line from Kyoto Station to Saga-Arashiyama Station. The train ride takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately 240 yen. Once you arrive at Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and head south towards the main road. Follow the signs toward Arashiyama and Kimono Forest. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station to Kimono Forest.

  • Bus

    Another option is to take a bus from Kyoto Station. Look for the bus number 28 which goes directly to Arashiyama. The bus ride takes around 40 minutes and costs about 230 yen. After getting off at the Arashiyama stop, head east towards the Togetsukyo Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the main road to the left. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will find Kimono Forest on your right.
