Getting There

Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Osaka Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, follow the signs to the Osaka Loop Line and take the train towards Namba. Get off at Nishi-Umeda Station. From there, exit the station and walk westward for about 15 minutes to reach Utsubo Park located at Utsubohonmachi, Nishi Ward.

From Kyoto Station, board the Kyoto City Bus number 206 or 100, heading towards Osaka. Get off at the 'Utsubo Park' bus stop. The park entrance will be a short walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the frequency of service.

Take the Kyoto Subway Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to Karasuma Oike Station. Transfer to the Tozai Line and head towards Nishi-Financial District. Get off at Yodoyabashi Station. From the station, it is a 10-minute walk to Utsubo Park. Head west on Yodoyabashi and look for signs directing you to the park.

If you are staying in central Kyoto, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Utsubo Park. Start from the Kyoto Imperial Palace, heading south towards Maruta-machi Street. Continue walking south until you reach the Kamo River. Follow the river east until you reach the bridge that crosses over to Osaka. Once in Osaka, follow the signs to Utsubo Park. The entire walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and it's a great way to see the city.
