Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from the center of Mimasaka, head south on Route 313 (also known as Mimasaka Road) toward Okayama. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 180. Merge onto Route 180 and continue driving for about 10 kilometers. When you see the signs for Kibitsuhiko Shrine, take the exit onto Ichinomiya Road. Follow the signs for Kibitsuhiko Shrine, which will lead you directly to the parking area located near the shrine entrance. Please note that parking may incur a fee depending on the time of year, so have some change ready just in case.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start at Mimasaka Station and take the local bus to Okayama Station. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes and costs around 600 yen. From Okayama Station, transfer to the bus heading towards Kibitsuhiko Shrine. The bus to Kibitsuhiko Shrine runs about every hour and takes around 30 minutes, costing approximately 500 yen. Once you arrive at the Kibitsuhiko Shrine stop, follow the signs leading directly to the shrine, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, taking a taxi from Mimasaka to Kibitsuhiko Shrine is a convenient option. The taxi ride takes approximately 30 minutes and will cost around 5,000 yen. Simply tell the driver 'Kibitsuhiko Shrine' and they will take you directly to the entrance.
