If you are driving from Mimasaka, start by heading south on Route 313. Follow the road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Kagamino. Once in Kagamino, continue on Route 313 until you see signs for Okutsu valley. You will need to take a right onto Route 482, which will lead you directly to Okutsukawanishi. The valley is located at Okutsukawanishi, Kagamino, Tomata District, Okayama 708-0504. There is parking available near the valley, but please check for any potential parking fees.

Public Transportation
To reach Okutsu valley using public transportation, first take a train from Mimasaka Station to Kagamino Station. The train journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kagamino Station, you can take a local bus towards Okutsu. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited, especially on weekends and holidays. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to Okutsu valley. As of my last update, the bus fare is around 500 yen.
