Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Fujinomiya area. Take the Route 139 towards Oyama. Continue on this road for approximately 40 minutes until you see signs for Kusushi Shrine. The shrine is located at Oyama, Sunto District, Shizuoka 410-1431. There is a parking area nearby, which may charge a small fee (around ¥500). The shrine is a short walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Fujikyu Railway from Fujisan Station towards Otsuki Station. Transfer at Otsuki Station to the JR Chuo Line and head to Kozu Station. From Kozu Station, board a bus that goes to Oyama. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Kusushi Shrine stop. The shrine is just a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently.
