Getting there

Subway

If you are in Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (Yellow Line) towards Fujigaoka. Travel for 2 stops and get off at Sakae Station. From Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line (Purple Line) and head towards Nagoya Castle. Ride for 2 stops and disembark at Hisayaodori Station. Exit the station and walk towards the Hisaya Odori Park. Continue walking straight through the park until you reach Tsubakicho. The Friendship Monument is located at 6 Tsubakicho, Nakamura Ward, which is a short walk from the park.

Bus

From Nagoya Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for bus number 79 or 200, which goes towards Nakamura Ward. Board the bus and ride for about 10 minutes, getting off at the Tsubakicho stop. Once you exit the bus, walk straight for a few minutes until you reach the Friendship Monument at 6 Tsubakicho, Nakamura Ward.

Walking

If you're already in the downtown area, you can easily walk to the Friendship Monument. Start at Sakae or Nagoya Station and head towards Hisaya Odori Park. Walk through the park, then head west towards Tsubakicho. Follow the signs towards Nakamura Ward and you will find the Friendship Monument located at 6 Tsubakicho, Nakamura Ward. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
