Walking
If you are starting from Nara Park, head towards Kintetsu Nara Station. Once you reach Kintetsu Nara Station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road, Sanjo-dori. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 163. Turn right onto Route 163 and continue walking. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the Nara National Museum. From there, you can take a bus or continue walking until you reach the Naramachi area, where you can find signs directing you to Kyoto. Follow the signs to the nearest bus stop that services Kyoto. Board a bus heading towards Kyoto and get off at Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, you can take the subway or bus to Kyoto Sento Imperial Palace, located at Kyotogyoen, Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto.

Public Transit
From Nara Station, take the JR Yamatoji Line (also known as the Kansai Main Line) towards Kyoto. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the Karasuma Subway Line. Take the subway towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Marutamachi Station. From Marutamachi Station, exit the station and walk north on Marutamachi Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to Kyoto Sento Imperial Palace, located in the Kyotogyoen area.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Nara to Kyoto Sento Imperial Palace. This will take approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic.
