Kyoto: Higashiyama Slow Cycling Tour along the quiet waterfront
Our favorite tour of our whole trip to Japan
This cycling tour was perfect for us. Takashi took us to interesting and beautiful places, and made them more memorable with his explanations. He was knowledgeable, considerate and fun--cycling with him was enjoyable and unforgettable. I mentioned that soy sauce is much better tasting in Japan, and he took us to a nearby shop that makes and sells various types of soy sauces! We highly recommend this tour--six stars!

Kyoto Private Full Day Tour with English Speaking Driver
The day really is yours
Malik spoke perfect English, real nice guy. He took us to the areas most tourists go to and they were good areas, however, the open agenda didn't really hit me until the day was over. He was asking us how long we wanted to stay or how much time WE wanted. As a history buff I might have put in a palace in place of the bamboo forest. Again, had a great day, loved what I saw, but if you want to go in a more specific direction, your guide will probably be willing to work with you if you let them know.
