Car

If you're driving from central Nikko, head south on Route 119. Follow the signs for Lake Chuzenji and Nikkō National Park. Continue on Route 119 for approximately 10 km until you reach the junction for Route 122. Turn left onto Route 122, and continue for another 8 km. Look for signs indicating Furukama Falls as you approach. There may be limited parking available near the falls, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot.

Public Transportation

To reach Furukama Falls via public transportation, start at Nikko Station. Take the Tobu Bus bound for Lake Chuzenji (Chuzenji Onsen) from the bus terminal outside the station. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Furukama' stop. The falls are a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule as services may be limited, especially on weekends and holidays.

Walking

Once you have reached the Furukama bus stop, head towards the trail leading to Furukama Falls. The path is well-marked and offers a pleasant walking experience through nature. It should take about 5-10 minutes to reach the falls from the bus stop. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
