If you're driving, start from central Nikko and head southeast on Route 119. Continue on Route 119 for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 460. Turn left onto Route 460 and keep going for about 1 kilometer. Gohonsha will be on your left at 2301 Sannai, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1431. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared to pay a fee which can range from 300 to 500 yen per hour.

To reach Gohonsha by public transportation, take the 'Toshogu' bus from Nikko Station. The bus ride takes roughly 10-15 minutes.
