Car
If you are driving, start from central Nikko and head onto Route 119. Follow the signs towards 'Kanmangafuchi Abyss.' The journey is approximately 10 minutes (about 4 kilometers). Once you reach Takumicho, park your vehicle at one of the designated parking areas nearby. There may be a small parking fee of about 500 yen. After parking, it's a short walk to the entrance of Kanmangafuchi Abyss.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Nikko Station, take the Tobu Bus bound for 'Kanmangafuchi' (神場ヶ淵行). The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Kanmangafuchi' bus stop. The bus fare is approximately 300 yen. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Kanmangafuchi Abyss.
Walking
If you are staying in central Nikko, you can walk to Kanmangafuchi Abyss. It takes roughly 30 minutes on foot. Start at the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, head south on Route 119, and follow the signs to Kanmangafuchi. The path is scenic, and you'll pass traditional Japanese architecture along the way.
