Getting There

Car
If you are driving from central Nikko, head east on Route 119 towards the Nikko National Park. Follow the signs to the Nikko Toshogu Shrine. After approximately 4 km, take a left onto Route 13. Continue for about 1 km until you reach a parking area near Narabi Jizō. Be sure to check for any parking fees, which may vary by season.

Public Transportation
From Nikko Station, take the Tobu Nikko Line train towards Shimo-Imaichi. Get off at the next stop, Tobu Nikko Station. From there, take bus number 2 (Nikko City Bus) towards 'Nikko Toshogu'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Nikko Toshogu' stop. Walk towards the main entrance of the shrine, and keep following the signs for Narabi Jizō, which is about a 20-minute walk. Be aware that the bus fare is approximately 300 yen.

If you are already near the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, you can walk to Narabi Jizō. Exit the shrine grounds and head south along the main road. Look for the signs indicating the direction to Narabi Jizō. The walk will take about 20 minutes and is approximately 1.5 km. The path is relatively flat and offers scenic views along the way.
