From central Nikko, drive south on Route 121. Follow the signs for Kinugawa Onsen. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the parking area near Ryuokyo Canyon. Parking fees may apply, typically around 500 yen. Once parked, follow the short walking path to access the canyon.

Public Transportation
Start from Nikko Station and take the Tobu Nikko Line to Kinugawa Onsen Station, which takes about 30 minutes. From Kinugawa Onsen Station, board a local bus (Nikko Bus) heading towards Ryuokyo Canyon (Ryuokyo Keikoku). The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes and costs around 300 yen. Get off at the Ryuokyo Canyon stop and follow the signs to the canyon entrance, which is a short walk away.
