Bus
From Naha Bus Terminal, take the number 8 or 9 bus heading towards Shurijo Castle. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Shurijo Koen' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk for about 5 minutes to reach Kankaimon, which is located within the Shurijo Castle grounds.
Monorail
Take the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail) from Naha Airport Station or any station along the line. Get off at 'Shuri Station'. Once you exit the station, head in the direction of Shurijo Castle. It will take around 15 minutes on foot to reach Kankaimon from the station.
Walking
If you are staying in the vicinity of Naha city center, you can walk to Kankaimon. From the Kokusai Street (international street), head southeast towards Shuri. Follow the road signs to Shurijo Castle. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy the local sights along the way.
