If you are near Umeda, start by taking the Midosuji Line from Umeda Station towards Nakamozu. Get off at Namba Station (approximately 10 minutes). At Namba Station, transfer to the Sakaisuji Line and take the train towards Tennoji. Get off at Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station (approximately 5 minutes). From Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station, exit the station and take the North Exit. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Shitenno-ji Temple located at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward.

From Namba, you can take a bus from Namba OCAT (the bus terminal next to Namba Station). Look for buses heading towards Tennoji. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Shitennoji-mae bus stop, which is within walking distance of the temple. From the bus stop, walk for about 5 minutes to reach Shitenno-ji Temple at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward.

If you are staying in the Tennoji area, you can walk to Shitenno-ji Temple. Start from Tennoji Station. Exit the station and head south. Walk along the main road for about 15 minutes. You will pass Tennoji Park on your left. Continue straight until you reach Shitenno-ji Temple at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward. The temple is a prominent structure that you will easily spot.
