Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are near Umeda, start by taking the Midosuji Line from Umeda Station towards Nakamozu. Get off at Namba Station (approximately 10 minutes). At Namba Station, transfer to the Sakaisuji Line and take the train towards Tennoji. Get off at Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station (approximately 5 minutes). From Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station, exit the station and take the North Exit. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Shitenno-ji Temple located at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward.

  • Bus

    From Namba, you can take a bus from Namba OCAT (the bus terminal next to Namba Station). Look for buses heading towards Tennoji. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Shitennoji-mae bus stop, which is within walking distance of the temple. From the bus stop, walk for about 5 minutes to reach Shitenno-ji Temple at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward.
