    If you are driving from central Osumi, take Route 220 heading towards Kagoshima. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the city of Kagoshima. Once in Kagoshima, follow signs for Route 10, then take the exit for Shiroyamacho. Mount Shiroyama is located at 22 Shiroyamacho, Kagoshima, 892-0853. There is parking available near the entrance to the park.

    From Osumi, take a local bus to Kagoshima City. You can catch the bus from the main bus terminal in Osumi. Once you arrive at the Kagoshima Bus Terminal, transfer to the City Tram (Kagoshima City Transportation Bureau). Board the tram heading towards Shiroyama. Get off at the 'Shiroyama' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Mount Shiroyama, located at 22 Shiroyamacho, Kagoshima, 892-0853. Be prepared to walk uphill for a short distance to reach the main area of the mountain.
