From Sanuki City, head towards the Takamatsu Expressway. Take the expressway and exit at Takamatsu Chuo IC. Follow signs for Naoshima. You will need to take a ferry from Takamatsu Port to Miyanoura Port on Naoshima Island. The ferry takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately 1,300 yen for a one-way ticket. After arriving at Miyanoura Port, take a local bus or taxi to Chichu Garden, which is about a 15-minute drive.

From Sanuki Station, take a local train to Takamatsu Station. From Takamatsu Station, transfer to Takamatsu Port by bus or taxi. At Takamatsu Port, board the ferry to Miyanoura Port on Naoshima Island. The ferry ride takes around 20 minutes and costs roughly 1,300 yen for a one-way ticket. After disembarking at Miyanoura Port, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach Chichu Garden, which is about a 15-minute drive away.
