Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the Sapporo Station, head to the bus terminal located on the east exit of the station. Look for the bus line that goes to Jozankei Onsen (温泉). You can take either the Sapporo City Bus No. 101 or No. 102. The bus ride will take approximately 60 minutes. Disembark at the 'Jozankei Onsen' bus stop. Once you arrive, you can walk to Shiraito Falls, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the falls, and enjoy the scenic route.

  • Subway and Bus

    Start at Sapporo Station and take the Sapporo Subway Namboku Line (green line) towards Makomanai. Get off at the Makomanai Station (about 15 minutes). From Makomanai Station, exit and transfer to the Jozankei Onsen bus (No. 101 or No. 102) at the nearby bus stop. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Jozankei Onsen' stop. From there, walk approximately 20 minutes to Shiraito Falls by following the signs.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Sapporo Station. Simply tell the driver 'Shiraito Falls' or show them the address: 2 Chome Jozankeionsenhigashi, Minami Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido 061-2302. The taxi ride will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic and will cost approximately ¥3000-¥4000. Taxis are a convenient option if you are traveling in a group or with family.
