Car
From Settsu, take the Hanshin Expressway Route 13 towards Osaka. Merge onto the Meishin Expressway and continue for about 20 minutes. Take the exit for Kyoto and follow signs for Route 1. After entering Kyoto, follow Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Rinkacho. Turn left onto Rinkacho, and Chionin Temple will be on your left at 400 Rinkacho, Higashiyama Ward. Parking may be available nearby, but be aware of potential parking fees.

Start by taking the JR train from Settsu to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and travel to Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station.
