If you are traveling by car, start from central Shinano and head towards Nagano city. Use Route 18 and follow the signs towards Nagano. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit toward Oshinada. Continue on Route 403, following the signs to Kawanakajima Old Battlefield. The battlefield is located at 1362 Oshimadamachi, Nagano, 381-2212. Parking is available nearby, and there are no fees for parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Kawanakajima Old Battlefield via public transportation, take a bus from Shinano Station to Nagano Station. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes and costs around 500 yen. Once at Nagano Station, transfer to the Nagano Dentetsu Line and take a train to Oshinada Station. This train ride takes approximately 15 minutes and costs about 250 yen. Upon arriving at Oshinada Station, exit the station and walk towards Route 403, following the signs for about 15 minutes to reach the Kawanakajima Old Battlefield at 1362 Oshimadamachi, Nagano, 381-2212.
