Getting There

    If you're driving from central Suruga, head east on Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway). Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the exit for Shizuoka City. Follow the signs for Route 150 towards Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. After about 5 kilometers, you'll see the signs directing you to the shrine. There is a parking area available at the shrine, but be aware that it can fill up quickly during weekends and holidays. Parking fees may apply.

    To reach Kunozan Toshogu Shrine using public transport, start at Shizuoka Station. Take the JR Tōkaidō Line to Shimizu Station. From Shimizu Station, transfer to the Shizuoka Railway (Shizutetsu) and take a train towards Shin-Shizuoka. Get off at the Kunozan Toshogu-mae Station. The shrine is approximately a 20-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs directing you along the path leading to the shrine. Be mindful that buses may also run from Shimizu Station directly to the shrine on weekends.
