From Shinjuku Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (Red Line) towards Ikebukuro. After 1 stop, get off at Yotsuya Station. Use Exit 1, which will lead you to Yotsuya Saneicho. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Shinjuku Historical Museum at 12-16 Yotsuya Saneicho.

From Shinjuku Station, head to the bus terminal located near the south exit. Take the Toei Bus bound for 'Yotsuya' and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the Yotsuya Saneicho stop. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop; head straight down Yotsuya Saneicho Street for about 5 minutes.
