If you're driving, start from Yakushima Airport or the main ferry terminal in Miyanoura. Head south on Route 28 towards the town of Anbo. Continue on Route 28, passing through Anbo. After about 15 minutes, look for signs directing you to 'Sunset Hill Observation Deck' as you approach Yoshida. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes in total. There is free parking available at the observation deck.
